I need to loose a few more inches (after dropping from an unhealthy 180, now at 140) in my stomach but nothing seems to work. I drink protein shakes for muscle and had a trainer set up a brand new weekly workout for me. I take CLA to burn body fat, which says it targets abdominals the most, and as far as diet...well...it's usually good but it's getting worse. I've been away and it's hard to stay away from junk but I'm doing good now with trying to stay focused. I've slipped lately but I go to the gym everyday. I do cardio on some sort of elliptical at intervals of hardest to highest every minute for 30 minutes burning 600 calories.
What else? Is it diet?
I've been going to the gym/gyms since I was 15 and had multiple trainers. By January 2007 I hit 140lbs and I've stayed looking EXACTLY the same since then. Barely ANY change. What can I do?! Please help!

more cardio - the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat so you should be doing it for 45min 4-6 times a week.
CLA does not target anything - its all theories - there are no researches done that support the statement that it helps with weight loss

Maybe your metabolism rate is slowing down by your current diet.

Increase it by eat healthily lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some fats and weight.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
