We all know that Yahoo! Answers is addicting. But have you ever spent so much time here that your spouse/significant other felt rejected, neglected, or hurt? Do they know that you spend time here?

(Lol)

I got suspended from my other account so I had to make a new one but I am on here all the time. And on myspace all the time and my husbnad can't stand it. But he can kiss my butt, if I'm not on the computer I'm sitting in front of the tv and so is he and we're not spending time together any way. I'd rather have an intellegent conversation with someone over the computer than be a tv zombie like him. All he wants to talk about is cars and all he wants to do is eat or have sex. I make supper and give it up what more does he want???? Okay obviously this is a touchy subject for me...

I used to hang out in the university debating about religion.

It was so addicting that my wife felt neglected because I spent a lot of time there and all I could talk about was what the other side said today when I was with here.

Right now, I only check this when I have nothing to do at work. I don't need to check this website at home because there are other important things.

I can guarantee you that my mom is annoyed. I spend all my free time here. Sometimes I am not asking or answering, but I'm clicking refresh like crazy and reading interesting questions and answers to my taste, waiting for something really good to answer, so when I'm not currently asking or answering, it doesn't mean that I am not here... I am. When I ask a question and I'm not at home I am wondering how many answers I've got, etc.. and immediately come to the computer. I dumped MySpace for Yahoo Answers.

Nope he doesn't feel in the least bit upset, rejected, abandoned or anything else.. He is currently sitting as his computer playing a video game about 3 feet to my right and 12 feet behind me..

Often I read a question aloud and get his input before answering.. So yes he knows I come here..

Great question! No, my computer cabinet is right in the family room where my husband's humongous wide screen is located..we talk while we each get to do our thing. We do discuss current events on TV and on YA..we like to keep up with world news and politics; with two mediums we have a lot of fodder for discussion.

Mine doesn't know.
He works out of town, so I have mentioned it to him, and tried to show him, but he is not interested, so whenver he asks what I'm doing I just tell him something else. Like right now, he thinks I went to bed.hehehe
When he's here, he definitely would feel neglected.

Not so much that I'm here, but she gets really ticked off at some of my responses. She is the type of person that I often end up popping off at in here, so she gets really defensive when I tell off someone she agrees with.

Oh, kinda. He works shifts and if I'm not ready to leave the computer when he is ready for bed, he is a little put out occasionally. But not seriously. He's a nice, (Mr. Wonderful/Perfect) understanding husband: .

I actually had an issue with my ex-girlfriend spending so much time on yahoo answers. She was one answers so much, she began to cast me aside. We were in a committed relationship, even lived together. I felt like I was alone, just as if I really was alone. It hurt me pretty bad to see a website mean more to her than me. Still kills me inside to this day..........................

I'm about 500 miles from my girlfriend right now. There have been times where our phone conversations suffered because I was on here...

By suffer I mean I hung up with her to hang out with you guys.
