Especially since if the woman definately would have been "into" the guy?

Maybe the girl really is into this guy, but is hoping he will approach her to let her know his feelings. Some girls are very shy or believe that the male should make the first move as being the appropriate. I think this guy should "man up" and take a chance with this girl. He will always wonder what could have been.

Maybe he loves her, but just thinks he isn't worthy of her. You know, like he thinks he's not good enough for her, or couldn't make her happy. Maybe, if the girl really likes him, she should confront him and let him know that this is not the case ( if it really isn't the case anyway). Just lay it all out on the table. Sometimes putting things out there and in the open squashes a lot of problems.

sometimes guys say that to stay in good standings with his girl.

but some guys who really love their girl actually feel this way because they see her for the true beauty that she is inside and out. they feel like the luckiest guy alive to be with her and can't explain how it happened. so they feel like they aren't worthy, especially if they think about the past and feel bad about what they did before they met her.

even girls feel this way. i do. i love him to death but sometimes i just can't believe he's with me and i feel like i don't deserve his love and his gifts. he's just too good to me. and i sometimes feel like i'm not good enough back.

but i love him and he loves me and we both know that we are more than worthy of each other. that feeling just comes with the territory and the relationship. it's normal and it's not a bad thing.

thats a self confidence issue, the guy doesnt belive himself to be worthy of such a great person, that he doesnt deserve it for some reason. he may think that she doesnt like him and that she is just a very good/nice person. best way to solve the problem is to try and find ways to show him that he means the world to you, that you DO love him.

maybe he believes that he doesnt equal up to her or that she is on a different level and he doesnt compare. He probably underestimates himself and has some insecurities to deal with

It happens. Those guys that are unsure of themselves may think themselves unworthy and they may or may not be. . .Then there are those guys that know they are unworthy and give you a break. . .and they are doing you a favor. . .

maybe he does not know that the girl is 'into' him too or he might have a lack of confidence.
