Put her on a leash and make her go outside, then keep food down right next to her and the babies. She should eat, dogs are usually ravenous after giving birth. If she's not eating by tomorrow,I would call the vet,as she and the puppies should be checked over anyway,to make sure the mom doesn't have any retained pups or placentas, and to make sure the pups are all normal and healthy.

She won't. New moms usually take a couple of days to go. Leave food and water for her at all times and when she can sneak out, she'll eat. She may even sneak out for a pee, but not where you expect it. Might want to keep your eye open. Right now her priority is the pups. But most of all, put soft puppy food down for her and this will help her milk come.
Just keep a watch where you are walking. She may surprise you.

My first chihuuahua mommy wouldn't go out to potty, eat, or anything for 3-4 days after the pups were born, she just wouldn't leave her babies for anything. It is normal. Try to get her to drink some water. Hold her bowl close where she can reach it. I also will put a little kibble down for them at a time. Congrats on the new babies.

It is normal. You can try placing the food and water near her and the puppies but I wouldn't expect her to eat for awhile. You may have to put a leash on her and make her go outside to potty if you are worried about and accident in the middle of the night when she gets ready to go. She is just doing exactly what a good mother should be doing even though it is driving you insane and causing you to worry about her. :)

She likely won't eat.. But you can take one of the puppies and head towards the door and hope that she follows you.. Get her outside that way.. Someone should go out with her, and keep telling her to pee, as she'll likely stand at the door whining. You do want her to pee, helps to get that hmm.. left over stuff out of there... It's good to get them out and peeing.. and it's good to have them up and moving around.. They can get very stiff and sore just laying there for hours at a time.
