It's the union between the couple that makes a wedding great, not how much you spend on it!

Hi Miss Sarah, congratulations! Although wedding in itself will definitely be the best for the couples (as long there's good planning). But here's some ideas I've gathered from friends and families' weddings.
*Find a nice beautiful church and have people/friends playing the instruments and organ for the wedding. Ask them to play some really nice romantic music for the wedding. (personally
recommends classical and baroque music).
*Make the wedding venue (church etc.) color coded, color themed, a color the couple (you) like most or best represents your relationship.
*Have lots of people readied with flower petals and shower the brides and grooms when the wedding is sealed with a kiss.
Music, colors, if sequenced nicely can definitely stir up some beautiful atmosphere. I don't know too much about the wedding dresses. Congrats!!

When you get down to bare bones a wedding is basically a big party to celebrate you and your new husbands new union.
Plan like it's a party and people will have a great time....that's what makes a great wedding. People remember if they have fun or not...not that the bride spent thousands on her dress and had orchids everywhere.

Go to your local library and take out books and magazines on weddings. Then retain the services of a wedding planner. They see many weddings every year and know how to plan, where to rent, borrow, or buy what you need. They know who does wedding cakes you'll love, what hall to rent and how to decorate it. They are worth every penny of what they are paid. The bride and groom have little to worry about, and can relax and enjoy the day. Don't be a bridezilla -unless you want to get on the program and be mocked.
