Do you as a Christian often think about this?

This hits home personally with me. I have a family member that does not believe.

Is there anyone here that is in the same situation?

It's sad to see people shut themselves off to the gospel. It's like watching somebody drown and being helpess to do anything about it.

yes,I get very sad and angry for those people who doubt and argue about the existence of God or his son Jesus Christ.
all we can do is pray for them, that one day God might shine upon their minds and lead them to the right way...

God bless everyone!!!

Nah, you have to hear so much of their whining and nagging on earth. They're always trying to get rid of Christmas and God in everything, and Christianity is about peace--not like it's a religion about killing things or anything. All athiest sing the same boring, monotonist tune, and try to ruin the history and faith of the largest religion in the world, Christianity. Do they not want any joy on earth? So wah, when they realize that God exists and their name isn't in the book, I'll try not to cry them a river.

I am a Christian, but I don't believe in hell. I really believe that most Christians don't either, they just say they do because it is politically(religiously) correct. It's time we stopped spreading this hate message. Do you really worship a God that would send 90% of civilization to a burning pit? I could in no way call Him loving, I might fear Him, but not love Him. It goes against everything Jesus taught. Do some studying and quit turning people against our Lord. He loves everyone.

My husband has six brothers and one sister...the sister did get baptized and I know she believes in God but she still has been known to hang out in places she shouldn't, so I don't know where she stands....two of his brothers are saved, His daddy and his Mama were both saved, and I think it was because their son (my DH ) led the way.

No one in the family was saved until he got saved...But that leaves four who are not saved...I think two of them believe,,,,but we do worry about them all. Three of them have been married more than once and just can't seem to settle down. I think of that old Gospel song.."Will the Circle be unbroken in the sky"...I sure pray it won't.

I think I would rather go to hell anyway. I mean it just sounds so much more interesting and fun. I would gamble and go to prostitutes all day. What will you do in heaven besides sing hymns for all eternity, how boring.

How do you know your family member is going to hell? Aren't you not supposed to judge? By passing judgement on them you are also going to hell.

I am not someone who easily cries but when it comes to salvation, I take it quite seriously. There have been times where I have spoken to family members who I know aren't saved and my heart and spirit are grieved. I do not just grieve, I pray and petition to God about them. I do not "Bible thump" people because everyone is at a different place in their life and the choice is theirs to make. I am sensitive to when people are open to discussions and biblical verses but if they are not open to it I let it be. You can talk until you turn blue but the Lord is the ONLY one who can open their eyes to the truth. I have a prayer list that I go through everyday (not including the other prayers throughout the day) and I encourage you to do the same. I have a separate area for people who for one reason or another I am burdened for. For example, I have a guy that I worked with about 5 years ago, I still pray for him and his family. I have kept track of all the prayer requests that God has answered as a "human" reminder to me that he is faithful and how he answers prayers in ways that just astounds human understanding! God is faithful! Don't give up if you don't seem to "see" any changes yourself. You don't know what goes on in someones heart and how God is dealing with them. Check out Matthew 13:31-32 about the seed planter. I encourage you to ask God to use you as a tool and give you the words to say and "open doors" of opportunity to them. Oh yeah, he will. Remember, Gods words are much, much more powerful than our own. "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
Pray and ask God to give them a desire for Him, to come and accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, to open their eyes and ears to the truth and to free them from the bondage of the evil one. Don't let Satan or his demons try to discourage you in anyway! Remember, when he answers our prayers thank him for God gets the glory for everything not you and not me. I said a prayer for you and your family. Keep praying for them!! HUGS from me to you!!!

There is always hope up to the last second so don't despair for your family member. It took 14 years of prayer for my husband to be saved so keep on plugging at it.

What saddens me is all the Bible bangers that think they have a pass to eternity. Wow that is inconceivable to me thinking that there is a eternity, and to get there all you have to do is believe what some one tells you.Well that is as long as you pay 10 percent of your wage to the church and claim to pray every week. If you are saddened by this then explain why when you go to church that it is full of people of your own race? You are sitting in the most segregated place in the world when you are in your church. This saddens me.

I worry all the time about people I know and other's who reject Christ. I do not want to see no one go to Hell. I wish people would stop looking for things in the earth way and look in the spiritual way.God is spiritual - Hell is for all eternity there's no getting out.Just think of the rich man.

Jesus loves all or he would not have died for all.

To my own shame I don't get sad enough...... It really should be a big driving force in my life but it is more of a side issue.
