Scrap CD's are fun to decopouge and make hanging earring holders for kids. After dried, just drill some small holes in the disk to place the earrings in. You can either hang it or just use the disk as a holder to keep all of the posts from being lost and store in your drawer.
Drill holes in the top of them, put string in hole and hang outside to reflect the sun to scare the pest like birds away from the garden.
Lots of scrapbookers around here like to put pictures around them and place wording on the disks for decorating their books.
Write or place sticky letters or numbers on the disks and let the kids pretend thay are cards or use them for flash cards for learning.
Write a small letter around in a circle with a fine tip marker (permanant) and mail to a friend for a keepsake.
Make a mobile with them to hang in a childs room or outside.
Place some felt on the disk and make a coaster for the table, or use to make a scratch resistant pad for flower pots or something heavy used around the household.
You can donate them to a church group or a school class room for projects. Or palce an ad in the paper for used disks for sale for crafting, have a yard sale and sell them for .05 cents a piece, etc. Hope this helps a bit. Donna

If your community has a recycling program, you should be able to include those CDs in with any other plastic in the ol' recycle bin.

You can use 1 and make a clock out of it - just get the clockworks from a craft store!
The rest - if you own your place - you could glue to a wall (shiney side out) or screen partition for an interesting decorating look.
Call a public school and see if they want them for crafts for the kids.
