Well you can do circular pushups to strenghten the arms. Basically by moving your body in a foward - backward motion while doing pushups, kind of like a circle.

Im not sure if you want a harder punch through the air? or a harder punch to a persons body or punching bag? the secret to power is speed. The faster your fist travels the more power it has when it strikes the target, also relax your arm , hand and shoulder muscles but tense them all just before impact, aim through the target not at it. Keep your wrist locked and remember that the punch comes from the hip rotation, the whole body from the waist up should be involved in the punch and dont forget your KIAI!!!

gold belt. Never heard of it. But i'm pretty much an idiot and the only reason i punch hard is that i've broken an inch board with like my first knuckles. And did a five board break with my right hand. Plus being 5'9, 150 lbs at 14 helps a lot. But seriously go old school and start punching a wall or do pushups on cement. The skin will like peel and calluses will form if done long enough.

Learn how to box. Boxers, kickboxers, and some karatekas are the only people who can consitstently throw punches. Anyone can toss a haymaker, but boxing is the king of punching.

An armbar is very specific, as there are over a dozen typels of armlocks. Type 'Juji gatame' into your search engine's video section and practice. But why a joint lock for a TKD belt?

Knuckle push-ups or any push-up and/or bench press movement. This will build up your pecs and triceps.

The other important thing is that you have to get a good hip snap to transfer the strength from your stronger leg muscles.

Keep working at the proper technique as well as doing strengthening exercises. Strong arms alone will not do it.

Timing and rhythm are just as important as strength. Small people can generate a lot of power with proper technique but for equivalent technique stronger musculature will help.

OK... I'm a black belt in Aikido, and anyone who said "knuckle push ups", Punch the air or any dumbazz ignorant comment like that OBVIOUSLY doesn't know what the hell they are talking about.

To make your FISTS stronger, you should practice punching Bags of rice or beans in Dry cloth bags like pillow cases, DO NOT punch the bags as hard as you can, just practice punching short thrust punches from about 6-12 inches away, this over time will make your fist tougher,

To make your Punches stronger, practice punching under water or if u have an elastic cord or any kind you can tie one end to a tree and one end to your wrist and stretch the cord its full length without tension and try punching full extension thrust punches the opposite direction of the tree.

Have your instructor demonstrate the way he/she wants it executed. Or study BJJ and get a quick lesson on setting it up and executing it. It’s pretty easy. Remember arm between your legs, push your butt toward their shoulder, keep their arm extended, keep their thumb up, squeeze their arm between your knees keep one leg across their throat and the other either across their chest or plant the foot on the ground and press your shin into their side and roll them slightly away from you. To finish it simply press your hips to the sky and the arm will be forced against the joint. Watch for the tap and don’t explode into it or you will hurt your partner. Use caution on joints.

As for your punches power comes from a few separate dynamics working together. First you must soften your muscles and slowly make your muscles rigid as you approach your target. Remember to exhale when you punch and when you are hit.

You need to drive your punch from your planted toe pivoting off the ground behind you. The punch begins at the ground. You also need to rotate your trunk (core muscles at work) and drive your hip toward your target and also turn your shoulders with your delivery. I focus on driving my opposite shoulder back as my punching arm extends through the target.

Try getting some hand wraps and bag gloves and then go hit a heavy bag a few thousand times. You will learn to generate power. Don't forget to move your feet and work around the bag, don't let it swing.

Lastly ask your instructor for help. That's why you pay them for your training.
