Sometimes.
But be careful how you interpret a dream.
Never will God give guidance that runs contrary to His revealed will in the Scriptures.
" Why do you complain to him
that he answers none of man's words ?
For God does speak—now one way, now another—
though man may not perceive it.
In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on men
as they slumber in their beds,
he may speak in their ears
and terrify them with warnings,
to turn man from wrongdoing
and keep him from pride,
to preserve his soul from the pit,
his life from perishing by the sword. "
Job 33:13-18

I actually have sort of the same deal. I have a dream every few nights that comes true in between the time length of 1 week to 1 year. Try and just use these dreams to your advantage. Also, try and understand these dreams, and see if maybe there is something you are missing. Out of every reaction is an opposite and equal reaction. Every bad thing leads to something good. I am sorry this is 5 years off, but any help is better then no help.

Wow I hope not. I have no reservations in my dreams, I do what ever I feel and sometime just let go and do whatever. I mostly have falling or floating dreams. Some people believe if you are falling in a dream and you hit bottom you die. Thats funny because when I fall I let myself go to fall faster instead of fighting it - I go with it. And don't get me into floating and flying - that is totally awesome!

Yes and in the Quran as well and in the Torah.
The lord says.... dreams are from me if your with me
they are from your subconcious
they are from your surroundings
they are from your interaction with others
they are from your interaction with the world
they are from the devil if your letting him effect you
they are from devils minions and those who follow him if your dealing with them on an open level without protecting your soul
Those who where guided by whatever it was had dreams from such things... such as the Athan of Islam was given to a believer in a dream, they asked the horn of the jews.. they said no.. how about the drum to call for prayer, they said the drum has too much blood on it..how about the bell like the chiristians use... they said we are not christians or jews has anyone had a dream the prophet asked.... one came forward and said.. yes I hurd the call of Athan for prayer in my dream and it was like this......and the prophet said yes this is what the angel told me will happen to one of you.. and so it was revealed in a dream.

Not all dreams but yes, God uses dreams...so does the other side.
Some dreams you embrace. Some you must speak against.
Remember, the mind is the battlefield.

They can.
They also come from unfinished business or to much busy work in your daily life.
They can also be a direct message.
