1. A star for each of the persons children/siblings/ or possibly pets
2. Stars are very popular fad right now, so they could just done cuz they look cool.
3. Could be a gang related, but I doubt it.
4. How many times a person has been to jail?

it all depends on the person who has the tat what the meaning is. i have three black stars behind my left ear like that, but what they mean for me i'm sure isn't what they mean for someone else. my aunt bought me a star paperweight for my desk a few years ago she said because my mom (who passed away in 1986) was my star in heaven, ever since I've been infatuated with stars. My three stars for me symbolize myself and my two children.

Unless you get lettering that says you
kill people for a living......there is no
meaning for a tattoo.
It means what you want it to mean.
I've done the same tat on so many
different people and they all have a
different meaning for there's.
So, stop worrying................you either
get the tat or you don't.
It's all up to you.
You should never let other people's
ideas bother you.............

usually just depends on the person...what did they get it for? maybe they think it looks cool or each star stands for something, etc. tattooing tends to be rather personal like that.
