Moses was 120 years of age at the time of his death. Testifying to his natural strength, the Bible comments: “His eye had not grown dim, and his vital strength had not fled.” He was buried by Jehovah in a location never since discovered. (De 34:5-7) Likely, this was to prevent the Israelites from being ensnared into false worship by making a shrine of his grave. If I remember correctly, he was 120 years old. Yes he did die, he was not allowed to go into the promised land because he struck the rock to provide water, instead of just speaking to the rock as God instructed him to do.

I think he was 900 years old when he died. He led the children of Israel to the "Promised Land", but was never permitted to step foot on it. His bones are buried just outside of it.
