There are a wide variety of ready-made slipcovers on the market. They gear the patterns for different styles of furniture, like rolled arms, daybeds, wingback chairs, etc. Some are tied on, some are stretch material. They are priced so you could get several and change them with the seasons.
Prices range from $12 on up, depending on size and type of fabric. This would be the classier solution. It sure beats buying fresh furniture.

Take measurments of the furnature, and go to a craft store and pick out a pattern of fabric you like. Tear off all of the cloth on the sofa/ loveseat and imitate where the stiching was.

Sheets! Tons of variety to choose from. Get them on sale or beg from friends or find them in thrift stores. Don't sew? Use double stick velcro or safety pins. Depending on the size - you can find comforters or quilts (especially in 2nd hand stores) that are cool and funky. If you want something more durable - try the fabric shower curtains too. Have fun - I love changing out the look of furniture!

Hi my name is Deb! To decorate an old lounge buy a $20 lounge cover from BigW ,kmart, etc, or mesure the lounge and use any old curtains or sheets you do not use that will fit it. Try second hand shops or recycling shops as well as they are cheaper for sheets and curtains. You can even tie die them different colours or white sheets can be dyed with coffee. Deb

Go to a fabric store and sew a new fabric over the cushions, then sew fabric over the frame. (You might wanna take the pillows off first. I made that mistake once :( ) :)
