Why do extremists ban women from education when Islam makes it mandatory for a woman to be educated?

Question

I am a college graduate as are many muslims. I know some in Pakistan right now studying to become doctors. I know others in other parts of the world, middle east included, studying engineering and medicine all with their parents blessings and encouragement. What do you think of this?

"He said: I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, Allah will cause that person to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The angels will lower their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge, the inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth and the fish in the deep waters will ask forgiveness for the learned one. The superiority of the learned one over the devout is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full, over the rest of the stars. The learned are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets leave neither dinar nor dirham, leaving only knowledge, and one who takes it takes an abundant portion.

i personally believe this is culture and men trying to control women that if they dont get educated we can control them more
i know some mullahs and clerks that actually brainwash people into believeing that women dont need to get an eeduction

A lot of the news on TV about Islam is pure propoganda.

Afghanistan is used as an example of "Islamic Law" but that is pure BS.

Afghanistan has been in a state of war for the past 20 years. Communists invaded and established schools to indoctrinate children in atheism and communism.

Ever since then the religious people have been opposed to any schools established by foreigners.

From a male Christian perspective, I think, that women are a very - very important part of any society and therefore, education is equally essential to meet the need of that importance.
Sir Winston Churchill said, (to the effect), "The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the nation". The interpersonal relationship between the mother and (especially,) her son(s) is very crucial in the formation of the collabrational genius (relating and getting along) of the males to relate with other females in a relationship within their later years of marriage. Women ["mothers"] are vital to the contribution of this process. Within the Christian Holy Bible, within the Book of Proverbs, chapter 31, this chapter is devoted to the women.

Because extremists are deviationist as reported by the Holy Messenger about a group of people whose recitations of the Quran will not pass through their throats, and "They will pass through Islam like an arrow passes through a quarry..." Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari, meaning they overshoot their targets, wallahu a'lam.
