well, both have suffered a great deal, but for as long as there has been people on earth, Jews have been tortured, think back to Egypt. and the Italians, the Romans, and the Holocaust. black people were slaves for the last 300 years, but the Jews have been slaves for the last 2,000 years...

I think they are both equal, both groups have gone through some of the hardest times ever. All that slavery that African Americans had to go through. And then the Jews for what Hitler did to them. I think it is horrible.I cannot watch anything to do with that stuff Hitler or Slavery it makes me sick and I have a strong stomach. I'm an Atheist.

Suffering is suffering. A man deprived of his freedom because of slavery and separated from his loved one suffers just the same as some ones deprived of his freedom and separated from their loved ones in a concentration camp. Both will probably die, either being worked to death or murdered by a madman (both can happen in either situation).

Jewish, and for much longer. Black Americans did suffer, but not as long as the Jewish have, theirs go back to ancient days.

The Jews have suffered longer and more. Blacks didn't come into slalvery until the 17th century. Also Jews were killed outright in too many occations while blacks were considered property and of some value.
Because of the theory of evolution both were considered pre-human so there was no issue with enslaving or killing them.

Such comparisons are pointless. In Europe, the Jews. In the USA, African Americans.

Why is this important? Suffering is suffering, genocide is genocide and slavery is slavery. It's all horrible and unjust. What bearing does "Who's got it worse?" have on any of that?

All people who are discriminated against are equally wounded. Those who would discriminate are hurt equally. They suffer from bitterness and unforgiveness. There is no excuse for discrimination, it is evil.
