Oh snap! You just subtly insulted both Atheists and Fundamentalists in the same breath! You are my new hero.

We know that people will always believe silly things. That doesn't mean that we should let them get away with it.
To be honest, I don't care what you do in your own home. If religious people could keep it to themselves, I wouldn't care. The problem is that Christians have become a very powerful political force. They are making changes to our laws, they are changing the public school curriculum, and they are electing bad presidents (actually Bush wasn't elected the first time). I am against the public Christians.

Maybe most people aren't as intelligent as you think they are. I think it is the human ego that makes it so hard for people to give up god. The thought that there is nothing after this life and there is no speacial plan for us would blow their minds. In their minds they just have to be special and there must be some supreme being who created the whole universe that has a special place by his side picked out just for them. It's kinda funny.

I don't really care if what people choose to believe in.It's when they try to push those beliefs onto me or others that don't believe in the same things that annoys me.

About the time that the clouds roll back and all knees will then bow and all will proclaim that Christ is Lord.
Come, Lord Jesus, Come

Oh! I don't mind 'superstition, faith and belief in absurd stories?' as long as they do not expect me to subscribe to them and do not try to brainwash children into it.
