last days prophecy?

can any one think of a prophecy or sign , that is happening today, by proof of scripture

Now as He [that’s Jesus] sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
Matthew 24:3-7


People say we always have had wars and famine but read on

“All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:8

The word Jesus uses for sorrows is the word “odin” which translated means contractions or labor pains.

The closer the contractions the sooner the arrival

What are the three areas that Jesus said to watch out for?

Religious world
Political world
Natural world

Religious World:
It is estimated that about 1000 people in America alone claim they are Jesus

Political World:
In the 20th century over 200 million people died as a result of war
There are 38 armed conflicts going on in 28 nations
Terrorist attacks in 2003 totaled 175. It rose to 655 in 2004

Natural World
Almost 1/6 of the world’s population can’t meet basic nutritional needs
Pestilence- AIDS, SARS, Bird Flu, Mad Cow Disease, West Nile Virus
The Hurricanes of the past few yrs
In the first 1500 yrs after Jesus the earth averaged about 2 major earthquakes each century
But it made a dramatic increase over the next 4 centurites until it reached about 130 in the 1900s

Wars, rumors of war. There are over 150 wars being fought in the world each and every day. Frequency and damage of natural disasters. Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina and most recently the earthquake in Japan. Natural disaster occuring almost every night on the news. Droughts. The midwests drought in the US has been increasing for the last 10 years. Revived Roman Empire. Could only be the European Union. One world currency not here yet but with Europe being an Economic Super Power it could happen relatively soon. All currency is falling in value compared to the Euro. Jeremiah 16:15
"But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers."

The fact that Israel again inhabits the land promised to them is a modern-day proof of the accuracy of scripture. Israel proclaimed their independence as a sovereign nation in May 1948.

Israel remains the ONLY example of an ethnic people being absent form their land for nearly 2,000 years, and returning to inhabit it again.

People will be lovers of themselves, rather than lovers of God.
There will be false teachers, tickling people's ears.
There will be a falling away of the church.
There will be pestilence and disease.

The largest one I can see is the gathering back of His chosen ppl......... The Bible says that they would be thrown about the earth but would be gathered back... and they were and are gathering back on Jewish grounds........ God bless
