Yes but you have to wait one year after army discharge and then meet all the requirements for navy enlistment. Navy recruiter can give you more details.

You get out, then you see a Navy recruiter and apply. It would be easier going the other way, there's a special program (Operation Blue to Green) to allow members of other services to transfer to the Army.

maybe. Depends on if the Navy is taking PS, what yourRE code is in the Army, and whether or not your MOS translates to a Rating that the Navy needs.

the practical upshot is, however, that it is easier to go the other way around. Blue to Green.

At the end of your enlistment! Don't try anything like AWOL because it is a dark road to travel. You will probably lose all of your VA benefits down the road and possibilities of retirement and compensation money. If I were you, I would forget it until your current enlistment is up. If you are a combat Veteran, get you problems , orders, actions on record by going to sick call and telling the doctor your problems and making notes on a daily bases. The same is true if you get hurt at any time while you are in the military. Get it on the record, or it did not happen according to the military. Also, check into the VA as soon as you get out! Tell them everything that happen and every way you were hurt, wounded, depressed, anxiety disordered or so on. Get it on the record at the VA, Trust me on this one.
