After I eat dinner,I always crave just a little something sweet. Why is this?

Just to clarify, I don't want or crave a full dessert, usually just a bite of something sweet.

I cannot say or sure but I have heard a few theories.
Eating sweets may signal to the brain that we are finished eating.
It seems to be a psychological craving and may be related to being breast feed. Mother's milk is sweet and so as a baby we got familiar with sweet food. This craving is embedded into our psychological makeup.

Yes it does happen to me.

Sweet and salty flavors compliment each other. Cut back on the saltiness of your food, and you may lessen the desire for fattening dessert. It works the other way around, as well.

Yes it has happened to me too. I be having a craving for cake or ice cream.

that is because you get a filling of finishing completely and if you don't get it you feel unsatisfied, think about it

yep it does, so that's why I usually have dessert... yum!
