I talk with God every day and He talks with me when I am listening. I also study His word which teaches me how to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
Christians who falter in their walk with God usually don't pray enough and even worse don't take time to listen to God. He speaks through many ways including His word anointed by the Holy Spirit.
Christians who struggle a lot also do not "Study" the Bible. Many "read" the Bible superficially, but many never get past that. Joshua 1:8 has some important things to say about the Bible. Psalms 1:2 also. The whole 119th Psalm (176 verses) is all about God's commandments and laws, and Second Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that God's Word is God breathed or inspired by God. Ephesians chapter 6 tells us that we are to put on the "whole armor" of God which will include the "Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God."
The Bible also tells us that as newborn babes we are to desire the sincere milk of the word. There is so much more.
That is just off the top of my head.
If you do these two most important things you will never have doubts that you cannot conquer. Every time the devil tries to confuse you or bring you down you will have an answer for him. THIS SHOULD HELP.

Just say this: (its a little poem type of thing..)
Believe that you are not alone
that God is always there..
He knows each heart and every need
have faith that He will hear..
Tell him that sometimes you doubt.. Tell him that.. Like this poem, he knows each heart and every need.. so have faith my dear. Have faith!
Read the bible. Go to church. Be active in the church society.. Then, you will feel as good as new! You will start believing that He is there...
Start hanging out with strong Christians like maybe that shy girl at church or maybe even your best friend!

Descartes said, "I think therefore I am." God said to Moses I am the great I AM. You are thinking, therefore God is there.
We all have doubts. Jesus appreciated a man's honesty when the man said, "I believe but help me with my unbelief."
God wants honesty not religious pretension. It's sad to see all the supposed "Christian" answers pretending to have it all together. Like the one above where the person says, "It's called faith, either you have it or you don't." What a sad Christian. Jesus loves you! You're 16. Remember junior high dances where the boys stood on one side and the girls on the other. We were so scared to walk to the other side, everyone watching us and then even more embarassing when we get turned down. That's the great heart of God, he risked it all to invite you to have a relationship with Him. God is awesome, pray to grow in your faith and stick to the bible, don't be fooled by man's traditions.

wow that's cool I'm a dancer too...you know it's okay to doubt that God is always there God accepts doubts and questions. You can only have faith and trust in God that he is truly always there. Besides, it says in the Bible that God is always there. The Bible never lies does it?

Only by faith. So how does one get faith? By hearing the Word of God. Just keep reading and studying God's Word.

Just trust. He is. We all have doubts sometimes. Bad things happen. It's a part of life.
The only thing I can tell you is to pray that He will help you to feel His presence.

By going beyond faith to knowing. Knowing, seeing, feeling God's prescence in all of creation. Not confusing human's creations with God's. Look beyond to ALL THAT IS.
