I keep having dreams about Tornados??

In my dreams I am always in the house. Then I look out the window of my bedroom and see this huge tornado in the distance (it's usually in like a field or something). I get really panicked and then I usually have friends or some people in my house and I tell them all to get out the house and run. So I run outside the house only to find that there are two or three other tornados right behind my house and I find myself trapped. Then I wind up praying to God to please let the tornados disappear. They do, and then I wake up.
Why do I keep having this same dream?

It likely started from watching the late night news. Now it is an addiction. Find something else to focus on with positive emotions and the dreams will become pleasant, but not till the fear one gets starved out and recycled. Another way is to learn how to do lucid dreaming. I used to always have falling dreams and after reading Carlos Castenada I trained myself to switch to flying dreams whenever I started to have a falling one. It was fun.

1. A tornado appearing in a dream is a symbol of violent energy of one sort or another. Often it is emotions and feelings against which we feel powerless. It is a recognizable symbol of energy which has turned in on itself, and therefore becomes destructive. Or, while a tornado can be very destructive, interestingly, it can also be very cleansing, and it is in this context that it is often met on a psychological level. It sweeps all in front of it, but after its passage there is the potential for new life. Also, our early ventures into spirituality may make us feel powerless, and at the mercy of all the elements. This can be symbolized by the tornado. However, within the center there is peace and tranquility.
2. A house nearly always refers to the soul, and the way that we build our lives. The different rooms and parts of houses in dreams indicate the various aspects of one's personality and experience. for example: The bedroom portrays a place of safety where we can relax and be as sensual as we wish.
3. Numbers: Two could mean ..... duality; indecision; balance; male v female; two sides to an argument; opposites. Or, Three could mean.....the triangel; freedom.
4. Field: We need to be aware of the wider spaces in which we can operate our lives, to be aware of what is more natural to us, and perhaps to get back to basics. Or, the Earth Mother, the Great Provider and quite possibly a "field of dreams". the dreamer should make use of what is available to him on a practical level to further himself spiritually.
5. Prayer: Prayer suggests the idea that we need to seek outside help for ourselves. We may need someone else's autority to succeed in what we are doing. Or, Psycologically, the human being has always needed to feel that there is a greater power than himself available to him. To be praying in a dream reinforces this, since the dreamer needs to use his own inner sense of self to access the
Greater Power.
6. Trapped: When we feel trapped in dreams, we are not usually able to break free of old patterns of thought and behavior. We need ourside help. Also, spiritually we are holding ourselves back. We may also be aware of being trapped by the restrictions of the physical body.

There are three terrible storms in your life, and if u turn to God, they will disapp. The fact that they had u trapped means that it's some people all around u out to trap u, they may have been distant to u and r now close to u. Only God can guide u thru this, my suggestion is that u pray now, and he'll do the rest. God's anointed will always have some horrible storms in their lives that are far off and then they may seem to trap us, but bc God is ur protection, they can't do nothing else but disappear. Stay fasted and prayed up bc, even tho u got the other peps out of the strom, ur going to need that direct line to God the most. Stay pure and stay connected with God. Because the tornadoes represent trials and tribulations which are coming. In the bible tornadoes represent the anger and wrath of God on sin. So when you have these dreams God is warning you of trouble to come. But your dream is telling you that if you pray God will hear your prayer concerning the situation and intervene on your behalf.
