How do you know these are the latter days?
I have yet to see the abomination in the temple. No one has to carry a mark for buying or selling, nor is there a heathen working miracles for the blind, and I do not hear a false prophet crying out his name internationally.
These are some of the signs of the latter days. The days leading up to the "latter days" are the same as they were when the Christ warned us. When He told us to keep the faith.
He said that there will be wars, and rumours of wars, and that earthquakes and floods, as well a famines and pestilence will be with us in this age till the latter days. But do not be dissuaded, keep our faith in Him till He comes to rescue His church.
You can read it in Matthew Chapter twenty-four.
These are not the latter days. Looks like it though, doesn't it?
It looks so much like it!! Can't blame you for asking though, because with the state of the world today ... you have to wonder. What is going on? When is it all going to end?
Never the less; these are still the days of this age before the tribulation. The same age Jesus was living in two thousand years ago.
In other words. The planet's natural troubles are not going to end just because He came down to address the problem of salvation. No. It is still going to heave up on the fault lines, and floods will break loose, and hordes of terrible bugs will still decimate our crops. All the way up to the end, when the "Beast" takes control.
The only difference will be. The natural calamities will continue, but the Holy Spirit will have left, and there will be no one to stop the oncoming slaughter of mankind. All the Christians, all the children of God's worth will be gone. With that, there will be no righteous men and women left to stop the evil that permeates the world. Whew!! I think I said it well enough, I hope I was able to make myself clear in what the testaments meant about the "latter days".
All the best to you, and God bless.

Be an intercessor - there are many lost people who need our prayers.
Study the Word - We are to be ready to give an answer to every man of the reason of the hope that lies within us.
Separate from the world - Be sure your thoughts are holy, your words holy and your actions holy. Do not speak one thing and live another.
Prepare for the tribulation as if you were going to go through it and suffer. If you escape in the rapture it will be a pleasant surprise. My personal view of the tribulation is what I call pan trib -- I will stick close to Jesus, and whether I go before, during or after it won't matter because with Christ on my side it will all "pan out."

Know that the Lord our God is One. Trust Him. And love our neighbors as ourselves.
In this we die to ourselves and live according to the will of God through Christ.
His will has me here, telling people about Jesus.

Hide God's Word in our hearts that we might not sin against Him. Let our light shine. Be ready with our extra oil.
