I usually have a "talk" with the Lord before I go to sleep. I ask quesitons, express concerns, ask for advice and generally chit chat...believe it or not.
I only pray before I go to sleep if I am really stressed about something. Sometimes the Spirit will awaken me in the middle of the night to pray some more or to let me know a solution to my stress, or just to reasure me... but usually that happens in a dream..

God is so good - He's amazing! and we've only just dipped the tips of our toes in that water

I usually replay the day's events in my mind. I think about what I enjoyed, and what I need to improve on. Unfortunately, sometimes my mind gets stuck on things that need to get done the next day like bills, errands, shopping lists, etc.
