THERE IS AN OLD WIVES YALE ABOUT HOW MILK CAUSES FLEM WHEN YOU ARE SICK, AND IT IS NOT GOOD TO DRINK, EITHER IS ANYTHING THAT CONTAINS ACID. THEY NOW SAY IT IS OKAY, BUT I NEVER LET MY KIDS DRINK MILK WHEN THEY ARE SICK OR HAVE A SORE THROAT. ON THE FLIP SIDE IT COATS THE STOMACH WHEN YOU HAVE STOMACH PROBLEMS JUST LIKE PEPTO. THERE IS ALWAYS SOME GOOD AND SOME BAD IN EVERYTHING.

I don't when I am sick, if its a throat or lung problem milk only makes more phlegm...what an ugly word...and if its a stomach problem that upsets the stomach too. But otherwise I love it!

Nope! First, sip ginger ail slowly by the tea spoon. Then after a few hours, coke...room trepmeratie. Milk and dairy makes it worse.

If you have a cold, milk will increase the mucus in your system. So, no, drink juices and have some chicken soup.

No, because milk is a very rich product and can curdle in your stomach. Since there is not enough bile to digest it properly, up it goes.

Bacteria loves dairy products. If you have a viral infection it is fine but otherwise, no.
