about five years ago, I was in charge of putting one together (my 10th) and less than half turned up. all the time, effort and money spent to make that thing work. so, i said "forget it, never again." i just received an invite for my 15th coming up. there is no way i am gonna go or return the invitation card.

I had a great time at both. I went to the 10 and the 20.
At the 10 there was a woman there with a first grade picture that had four of us in it that were there at the reunion. What a hoot. We took a picture together.
I missed the 25 because I was in the hospital with pneumonia. We didn't have a 30.
I graduated in 1972 but that was a year early, after my junior year. I consider 1973 as my class and it is their reunions I go to.

I have mine in two weeks. At the five and ten year reunions, everyone was still trying to hang with the same clique from H.S days. I think some of the guys rented dates! Everyone wanted to look like they had "made it." Everone since then gets better. I look forward to them and have a blast! The sad thing is every year finding out who has passed away, and as the class of 1967, we lost several to Viet Nam.

Ooo. Good one. All the then-popular peeps now are bloated, divorced, and leathery from over-tanning. While the wallflowers and geeks somehow blossomed, still happily married with a growing brood, and became successful in their endeavors or careers of choice. Bittersweet, bittersweet. I have yet to attend my 20 year reunion. The bets have been placed!!!!

Oh no - I haven't been to one yet - and I'm never going!! If any of these people were my real friends, they would still be my real friends now! I am in contact with less than a handful of 'em now . . . and sadly just "contact" - nothing more. Life blossomed for me AFTER high school . . . I have enjoyed my adult life!!!!!!!!
