Lutino Cockatiels are known for having a bald spot , it is completely natural (genetic)

Yes that is common i have 3 cockatiels and when they raise the feathers on top of their haed and they have a bold stop that is totally normal all of my birds have the bold spot even when i was playing with the different ones at the store they all had that bold spot!~!

P.S I have 4 birds 3 cocks... Im a bird lover im getting more!

As long as you have a friendly, Healthy, happy bird, Who cares if it is Bald when it raises it's "Top Knot" as i call it...
I had 2, a Pied and a lutino, both are passed on now (17 and 20 yrs. old) they were not bald on top.

Yeah, that's right. Almost all of my lutinos have that bald spot. My grandpa still thinks it's because they're old!
