Do you really think it is one sided?
You aren't paying enough attention. Read what your brothers and sisters are saying. If you only see love and compassion in their words then you are delluding yourself.

Well, not all of us who are non-Christians are rude - or mean to sound rude.
I know some people take me for being rude, but I am just stating facts. I can't help it if doesn't support what you believe, but it is not my intent to be rude.
Others on here just get a kick out of being rude. They have no self esteem, and no real logic or arguments for their view on life - so they live to bring others down. I see this a lot with atheists who claim that theists are dumb, uneducated, slack jawed yokels who couldn't hit water if they jumped into it.
Don't worry about them. They are wallowing in their little pits of self pity and self loathing. Pat them on the head as you walk by but don't feed them. Let them starve on the hate of their own making.

Do you consider it rude to falsely claim that people "are in misery," or "are ignorant of real truth," or "have no sense of peace"? Claims made on this very site, presumably by people who believe in Christ?
If so, then you should probably look back at Luke 6:42. If not, try the Ten Commandments.

People are rude in nature no mater who or what other people believe in. Rude comes from anger and anger comes from fear of not knowing.
People who believe in Christ are different then people who believe in Joesph Smith< Those followers are convected, spit on, yelled at and threatened with guns. Mormons.
God does not make you feel, how to write something,Take responcibility and say I wrote it because I Believe in Christ.
That is why god gave us each a brain to think and have feelings for ourselves. We are individuals made in his image. Walk with the light, dont use it! Pray and you will recieve the answere yourself

Hi Tay
I don't consider myself to be rude to Christians, or any other religious group. As a non-religious individual, I feel that people should be free to believe whatever they choose to, IF---and that's a big "if"---they don't attempt to make their beliefs into law. There's no place for religion in politics.
And Christians are the most guilty party in that respect, at least here in the U.S. I think the solution to opposition to abortion, for instance, is just too easy; if you don't believe in abortion, don't get one.
But if being a Christian enriches your life and makes you a better person, then I say, More power to ya.

It's because they only know things that are opinion. they no nothing of fact. i could see if an athest or whatever went to church learned all they could about every christian or even jewish religion then had a comment to make i guess they would have the right but all they are doing is taking the rumors and stereotypes and going off of them. I'm a christian i've learned enough about most other religions to have comments and if i don't KNOW for a FACT then i just don't comment.

Well here I go using your own believes against you but if your god really made all of us and he wanted you to provide one answer thing he must have wanted us to give the answers you found rude. Now suck on that.

maybe its because Christians belong to the religious right and are maybe the most responsible for the wars in this world and while i dont think its right to be rude to Christians i do think there is something fundamentally wrong with the christian movement

Saying we don't believe is not being "rude." If you can't handle diverse opinions you might want to find a place that isn't a totally open forum.
