coming to my mother's house unannounced and taking pictures by using a camcorder. I know it's being intrusive but is that also harassment in a way and trespassing?

She pushed her way in my mother's house when it was just my great grandmother (84 yrs old), home attendant and my13 yr old sis. If my mother and step father were there she wouldn't be able to do what she did. There's more to this story but to cut it short, she's trying to take me to court for visitation rights b/c she claims she hasn't seen her grandson and I'm a negligent parent. ACS has visit me, I was cool with showing I have nothing to hide and prove I'm not what this crazy lady thinks and my son has told me he over heard his grandmother say (while he was in his aunts house b4 this took place) she wants to put me in jail so she can have full custody of him and the money he gets from his father's SS will go to her. She's always been about money and wants things to go her way.

Lol, why would you do such a thing?

I'm sure if you were persistent enough and had some valid reasons to argue her harassment you could make a case.

If I were you I'd try and hash things out with her before involving the police.

Don't fight her! Go to court and petition that she be allowed to have supervised visitation at her expense. I would tell the judge about the incident you outlined and that you feel harrassed by her and that is why you are requesting supervised visitation. She is your child's grandmother, albeit a crazy sounding one so her desire to see him may have some genuine aspects to it even if she is somewhat motivated by money.

I guess you can, but I imagine it would be like 10 years down on the docket. Sad, but that's the way it works. Better off since no harm was done to try to work it out peacefully.

It's an invasion of privacy and yes, charges can be pressed, but it should be the subject of the filming who complains. If it was your mother, she has to complain; if it was your son, you have to file on his behalf. Is the woman aware that she is not allowed to show that film without your permission to any law official? (In Ohio that's the law.)
I'd go down and file charges.

Oh, come on! You know, courts are a bit busy, with stuff such as homicide and robbery to waste their time on crap like this.
Can't you solve your own family problems?
