I use Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning astringent two times a day and it seems to be working for me. I was wondering, if I keep using it, will it make my skin or what?

It depeneds on how your skin is reacting to it. My skin can be very dry after a shower in the morning, so i dont usually use it in the morning. However, after coming home from work all sweaty sometimes i use it. Even if i dont sweat i still use it b/c it is a great way to clean off all of the grime and dirt that can get on your face throughout the day. I think my bottle says to use twice a day, but it really depends on your skin type.

IF it is working for you then thats fine. If you find your face is becoming too dry after using it, then only cut down to 1 application a day. Perhaps in the afternoon or whenver you get home from work. This way you know all of the toxins that are in the air that can build up on your face, will be cleaned off.: )

Well astringent is usually really strong and is reccomended to be used only a couple times a week. Instead, you should be using a toner twice a day, after you wash your face. I use Obagi and it works wonders. If you keep using the astringent so often, it might irritate your skin and cause rash, burns, flakes, redness, increased sensitivity and the harsh wear and tear does long term skin damage (though very slowly) and can affect how well you age. A good thing to remember is that it doesn't have to be strong or have to have a "feeling" in order to be effective. Less is more when it comes to skin care.

Hope this helps!

astringent a.k.a witch hazel is good for the skin. it's only temporary solution, you just don't know when a pimple will pop up! topical meds are good b/c they keep acne under control, with astringents...ur only treating the surface...your not actually treating underneath the skin where the problem is starting...
