It is very well documented that more then 75% of illegal aliens in this country have "overstayed" their visas and they are not mostly from Mexico? Do they just hate hispanics or what?

Here's just one that states it's 45%... so let's just say it is 45%.... which is almost half. So why all the noise about "fencing them out" but no noise about throwing out the tardy visa illegals! And if you think "nobody" hates hispanics, you are on another planet.

So how many of you legal eagles think that it's NOT ILLEGAL when the President of the US violates the constitution? Trying to feed your family is a serious crime but instituting a "dictatorship" is fine. Have any of you ever felt the "love" of Jesus Christ? If you really love Jesus, you would love your fellow people. Source? The Bible; 1 John 4:16-21. Everyone that "hates" people for simply trying to work and feed their families are really living in "fear" of something. When you quit hating, maybe you won't be so afraid. God Bless. Shalom.

I absolutely agree. Not about hating Hispanics but about the visa over-stayers.That's why we need reform. We need a better tracking and monitoring system.

According to the Pew Hispanic Center somewhat more than half of the undocumented migrant population entered the country without a visa from across the Mexican border. (Hmm... not the 25% that you are claiming)
Visa overstays are a second significant form of violation. A "visa over stayer" is someone who remains in the United States after the temporary authorization afforded by a visa expires.
23% of all US visas are given to people from Mexico and they have a higher rate of overstays.
So there you have it the numbers show that yes the majority of illegals come from Mexico.
Um, yeah we do want ALL the illegals out, not just the ones from Mexico.
The difficulty of those that are jumping the border is the fact that we don't know who they are, what the REAL reason of their coming here and also are they carriers of diseases like TB. Another concern of not having a secure border is the threat of people from other countries going to Mexico and then jumping the border. Say for example an Al-queda person who isn't able to get a visa for the US, instead goes to Mexico for a "vacation" and then boom he's here exactly where we don't want him.

According to the PEW Hispanic Center 56% are from Mexico, and an additional 22% are from other countries in Latin America. Follow the link. By the way overstays are serious they are 40% of the total illegal immigrant population but many of those are also from South of the border.

That is the easiest way any to get into our country if you don't want anyone to know your here. You don't have to a Mexican to come across the southern border. Having the border open is a threat to our security. But, I'm sure all of this has been explained to your dumb a$$ before. People like you would love to see the U.S. a third world country that governed by socialist. The lame argument that people that do care about their country are racist doesn't carry much merit any more.

The majority of illegals are hispanic - heck the majority are mexican - so it's easy to get the impression that it's a 24/7 footrace across the border down there. But, yes, a lot of illegals do simply enter legally, then overstay thier visas, and those that go that route are less likely to be hispanic or mexican (and more likely to be Asian, IIRC) than those who enter illegally. (It is, afterall, a lot easier to swim the Rio Grande than it is to swim the Pacific). It really doesn't matter where they came from or at what point they decided the law didn't aply to them, though.

Here's the real deal, and I have not even bothered to read what the other posters have written. Are you ready?
Forty percent of our illegals are citizens of Mexico. The other 60 percent come from everywhere else.
Fifty percent of our illegals entered without inspection from the Southern Border. The other fifty percent entered from everywhere else (airports, northern and southern borders) with VALID documents. They simply remained here and never went home!
This issue transcends race, ethinicity, and country of origin. Illegal by any other name is still ILLEGAL.
As for Neo-Cons, the Liberals need also to take a look at the FACTS here. At least the Neo-Cons are not instructing illegals to portray themselves as "victims" here.
Real Americans cannot stand illegals, regardless of party.

Source? I have never read any statistics that back up your statement. On the contrary, everything points to the majority of illegals coming from Mexico. The long border and lax immigration enforcement being the contributing factors.

Actually, many of the illegals in this country come from countries like Brazil that do not have a simple drop them on the other side of the border policy with the US. These are the ones that have been under "catch and release" format also. We would catch them, give them a court date, release them, and they wouldn't show. Can't imagine why. They would actually call this a pass in Brazil.

Well, if our desert land is any indication, I'd say at least several million have been through there. They've ruined wildlife, vegetation and now the national parks, reservations, and privately held land is a sewer and a filthy landfill that will cost us millions of dollars to clean up! Just shows how much they respect our land, our people and our laws. Need more reasons? I have a million or rather 12 to 20 million reasons why we think that!

State your source.
I have sources that state that of the illegals in this nation, over 90 % of them are from "south of the border", and the rest are from the rest of the world. This is from Wikipedia, stated in numerous reports throughout the illegal immigration look up.
And by the way, sweetheart, hate to tell you, but I am not "neo-con", but a liberal. I just think that if one wants to be in this nation, one should respect it enough to follow the laws.
