About 10 minutes. I like to add olive oil to the water to keep the water from boiling over. I skip the salt because I don't need the extra sodium. Whole Wheat or higher protein noodles do require a bit more cooking time, but no more than 12 minutes usually.

It should say right on the box how long it is recommended to cook the noodles. It varies depending on the size and shape of the noodle.

It is about 10 minutes from the time you have a good boil going again. We always checked if it was done by throwing it against the wall. If it stuck it was done. Also, if you want to keep some for leftovers put some butter with it when you're done cooking it, it keeps it from getting so dried out the next day.

9 to 11 minutes. Depends if you are using thin spaghetti, angel hair or regular. No more than 11 though.

Toss your noodles with a bit of olive oil to keep them from sticking together. Heat a pot of water. Then just before serving dunk the noodles in again and drain. Do not rinse so you sauce sticks to them.

Usually 8-10 minutes until "al dente". Fish out a noodle and try biting it - it should be firm, yet chewable - not crunchy or stiff, nor overly mushy.
