Someone educated... I'm being told by my other half that 99% of a baby is made up of the father, and that the mother "only has the egg".. whatever!! We carry them for 9 months & give birth!! All the man does is get off!! Anyway, my question is... seriously... is a baby really 99% daddy 1% mommy??

I told him to tell that to my gyne & they'd kick him out of the office, laughing all the way!! Since I said that, he says the wedding is off... YEAH, Whatever!

The genes are 50 percent from each parent. The fathers sperm does determine sex. You other half needs to get over himself a little. That kind of thinking when out with the dark ages

Um no. Atleast on a DNA level, it's 50 50. What you get in a kid is what comes out dominant from that match of daddy genes and mommy genes.

what your husband is saying to you is nonsense....if i remember correctly both parents at the time of conception give 23 chromosones each to the developing fetus, we all have a genetic make-up which is made up of these chromosones.
