My dog has red splotches uder concealed areas...like his armpit, by his little man...and they are a little painful being touched. I have no clue what it could be. He Just got his vaccinations, he is 9. I cant do anything with him right now.

well im not sure if it was that that was painful, my friend was holding him while i examined him and he was squirming, he is acting normal, although he is a little sadlately cuz I have been spending less time at night

He could be having a reaction to his vaccines. Is he acting more lethargic or just not himself? Is he eating and drinking normally? When a dog stops drinking water...take them to the vet ASAP. Once it is ruled out that it isn't a reaction to his vaccines, I would look at a few other things. First rule out your environment. Have you recently sprayed your grass with harmful pesticides or weed killers? Next, check out your food. Allergies can and will flare up at anytime...even if the dog has been on the same food for years. Purina has wheat and corn in it. Those two grains are big allergens. Good luck! Sounds like an allergic reaction to something.

I'd have the vet look at it.

Well if it's painful being touched, then what are you waiting for? Get him to the vet! Why would you continue his pain and suffering?!

it could be flea bites or possibly hes allergic to something ...that's how my dog gets sometimes and thats usually when her allergies kick in

try sulfodene skin medication it is good for these symptoms and is inexpensive.

It matters what type of food you use... go to a vet.
