The adulthood levels in youngsters is very diverse than in older adults. Your father and mom could be a decade aside and it is not an argument (esp whilst they hit 30 or so)...yet a 10 year outdated 'relationship' a 20 year outdated is prohibited and completely unacceptable. At 14 you're too youthful to be relationship besides, so it is not proper what age your boyfriend is. till you're a minimum of sixteen, you have no organization going out one-on-one with any guy. An 18 year outdated is a criminal person, of their senior 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of highschool or in basic terms graduated. A 14 year outdated is slightly with the aid of puberty, in basic terms initiating intense college, and not practically on the adulthood point of an 18 year outdated. it is not extraordinary a woman your age could have a topic for an older guy...it is somewhat unkewl a guy that age could opt to this point a infant, and not a woman his very own age, adventure, and adulthood point. he's the only that's somewhat questionable right here... that's in basic terms how that's, despite if it annoys you or no longer. that's considered one of those cliche' issues you will understand once you grow to be an person (and a quite a verify).

Usually in an older guy you may believe that he is more mature than the guys your age. However he is but he more up on his game and maybe a little wiser due to years of dating women. So be careful. Don't get me wrong some are very good men and understand how to treat a woman.

Every guy I've dated has been older than me, except for one guy who was a couple years younger. My husband is 5 years older than me. As long it's not illegal (like a 20 year old with a 13 year old), most age differences really don't matter that much if your personalities are compatible.

I don't think it's bad or wrong, because I've been the older guy plenty of times. I prefer to date women 5-10 years younger than me, because it's hard to find women around my age (33) who are single, don't already have kids, & have as much freedom to just pick up & go as I do. I love road trips, & it's hard to take a road trip with a single mother when you've never been a parent. I like women who aren't completely bogged down with responsibilities yet, so we can be the centers of attention for one another & just enjoy life.

First of all how old are you? My husband is 14 years older than I am and I wouldn't change it for the world. He treats me like a princess and is very loving and caring. He treasures every aspect of me and our relationship. When I began my search for someone special I decided then that he had to be in a specific age bracket. I did not want someone my own age. I wanted someone older, more mature, and someone who had his priorities in check. I could not have found a better person. I say go for it and don't look back. All that matters is your happiness.

I dated a guy who is 11 years older than me -- and 10 years younger than my mom -- for two 1/2 years. (I was 20 to 22, he was 31 to 33, she was 41 to 43)

I never really thought about the age difference, really, to be honest, but I got the impression my parents really disliked him and didn't trust him. He was "young at heart", I guess, as they say. I never really thought about age. The only time it was an issue, and this isn't necessarily about age per se, is when he wanted to get married and I just wasn't at that point in my life. At all. I was very tempted, because I was in love, but there were issues and I have never really wanted to be tied down anyway. So we split.

But really, as I said, I never thought about it until someone would react to it.

I dated a man who was 30 when I was 19. He was amazing, great in bed, very charming, and very handsome. We broke it off about 2 months later, it just wasn't going as planned. He was actually a lot more immature than I initially thought. I also later found out that he was divorced and had a 6 year old son. Funny how he never mentioned that....
