Did you see the guy in Oprah (who i don't know his name, but he wrote a book called"Inconvenient truth" or something like that). He talked about the dangerous effects of global warming , and what happened to Grenland over the last years !?
Another sceptic guy , wrote another book saying that that guy(who i don't know his name) is just over reacting .
So,are you optimistic or pesimistic !?

I myself is optimistic , but i think we should take our precautions to be prepared for anything that's gonna happen , but i also think that both guys are doing this , not for the world , but for their book to be sold LOL

Yeah your right Al Gore is just after the $$$$ and the fame there is nothing else to it. I think its a bonus for him every time some liberal, or green peace moron agrees with him, and says how he is doing the world a great justice lol. But did anybody think about all the energy it took to make that dumb movie of his, or all the trees he kills every year they print his dumb book. So in the end I have to be optimistic for if you are pessimistic its the end of the world everyday that you wake up....... So why be sad :( when you can be Happy :)

As has been said, the guy on Oprah would be Al Gore - former wannabe president of the US. He's very vocal when it comes to climate change, he's not a scientist but instead repeats the science of others - a kind of messenger if you will.

I'm optimistic by nature and although global warming and climate change can bring about many adverse consequences we're at a point now where we can adapt and make changes that benefit both humanity and the environment. The questiuon is - is their enough impetus for us to do this or are people too set in their ways to want to change.

We've seen some countries rise up to meet the challenges of climate change and in doing so they've made significant technological advances. If we continue this treend and other countries follow suit we could be headed for a much cleaner and more efficient world in the future.

If we do nothing climate change will be disasterous, if we make some tough decisions now we can make a better world for the future.
