my mini dv camcorder will not fit the cable from the 1394a card bust?

I got a 1394A cardbus and the Ieee 1394 wont fit into my mini dv camcorder!

these cables are fairly standard, with either 6pin, 4 pin or a combination. most camcorders are the 4 pin variety, most computer ports are the 6 pin variety. most stores that sell computerwares should be able to outfit you with a cable that has the correct combination of connectors.
