If you don't know how to use it, it's either you're scrambling for anything and then time's up or you're laid back (asleep) and when you wake up it's time to go. If your life is purposeful and you're sure of your calling you'll find fulfillment in almost every moment.

There are also arguments that it is too long if you don't know how to use it well. I would think that the life of a criminal in prison would seem way too long. I know I have felt sometimes that I've gone past the reasonable number of years for how trashed my body is, and I'm only 60. But then I think of the developments I want to witness into the future, and perhaps participate in, and I take heart. But then, I was one of those kids who never wanted to put a book down until the end, because I was so eager to see "how it comes out." I still am.
