i know its a mustang but they go about the same speed of a mini couper(research has shown)

what? I have a V6 the first few days you drive it feels very powerful eventually you get used to it if youre next to a GT the GT sounds so tough its not even funny... thats the only thing I dont like about my car it doesnt sound tough you know... go for a GT

While it may go the same speed as a Mini, the Mini is a lot lighter than the Mustang, thus it will have more take off than a Mustang will. The Mustang V6's generally seem weaker though, just because its a smaller engine in a somewhat heavier car.

the 4.0 doesn't seem like it's holding back or nothing and the 05 and newer mustangs don't have that feeling compared to the earleier v-6s but as someone stated, this is a heavy car compared to a mini cooper and the mini cooper will take off quicker cause it's lighter....

best to test drive to get a real world idea as some people's ideas of how something should take off and real world are two seperate things...

I never drove a new GT, but I have a 2006 V6, and I find it has plenty of power. I don't find that it holds back or has a lack of power, but I guess that depends on the type of cars you are used to driving.

The V-6 engine has enough power to get you around town. If you really want the power go with the GT and the V-8. Good luck.

If you already have the V-6, there are power adders.
