Don't cast pearls before swine, means don't waste whats valuable with someone who doesn't appreciate it,
Is she seeing someone he doesn't think deserves her?
or working in a job where they take her for granted?

You have several answers if you meant 'pearls' rather than 'perlis.'
It is possible that some programmer was unhappy about misuse of a computer program written in the Perl language. If so, he might have considered "Don't cast your Perls before swine" a witty remark.
Mentions of 'perlis' on the Internet are not encouraging.

I think this is based on Matthew 7:6. From the KJV,
"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."
This verse is one that bothers me because it makes it sound as though Jesus was saying not to tell the "swine"--whoever they may be--about the plan of salvation. From Matthew 28:19,
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
It reads "all nations," and I would assume that means everyone, but compared to a perfect God, wouldn't all of us be swine?

Jesus said it in the Bible. It means that if you have something that is valuable or meaningful to you, don't give it to someone who won't care or appreciate it. This could be anything from a piece of jewelry to a song you wrote.
