Sounds like an ulcer to me. I have an active duodenal ulcer. The funny thing is, after having my gall blader removed, most of the symptoms have gone away.
Basically, your body is out of balance; you need to carefully monitor what you eat and choose what will not bother you. And keep track of those foods that give you relief. In my case, a very bland diet, not spices, no salt, etc., was a big help; drinking milk, eating crackers, oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, etc., helps; also potatoes, boiled, no salt or anything like that.
Hope this helps.

You still have your gall bladder? I've had weird symptoms like that since having mine taken out.
Good luck on your search, I don't what could be causing that, sorry.
