I called you so often, but you wouldn't come.
I reached out to you, but you paid no attention.
You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.

When they cry for help, I will not answer.
Though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me.
For they hated knowledge
and chose not to fear the Lord.
They rejected my advice
and paid no attention when I corrected them.
Therefore, they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way,
choking on their own schemes.
Part of Proverbs chapter 1

Today is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation.

AMEN- you are right "today is the day of salvation" and for the one who said, "he is waiting, and his computer is still running" I don't think he got it- to receive salvation you have to ask, it is not coming on its own. And for those who say we live in fear of God- how many times in scripture not just this passage, does God call out to people in love and mercy to draw Him to Himself? Many!! One day it will be too late, because of harden hearts- God reaches out to His creation everyday, it is not His fault if people ignore Him. Praise God that He does seek us out, because frankly we all do not deserve it- I am praying that people will take heed of this passage and others, and experience the love and forgiveness of God- thanks for the reminder-

CASSIE G- I have a question for you, and please comment- why does what you wrote speak to you? Correct me if I am wrong, but could it be that there is no responsibility for your sin, no one to hold you accountable for your actions? It would be easy to believe that "everything is wonderful" however it is not.

No. It does not speak to me.

But this does:

"Listen to the words of the Great Mother, Who of old was called Artemis, Astarte, Dione, Melusine, Aphrodite, Cerridwen, Diana, Arionrhod, Brigid, and by many other names:

Whenever you have need of anything, once a month, and better it be when the moon is full, you shall assemble in some secret place and adore the spirit of Me Who is Queen of all the Wise.

You shall be free from slavery, and as a sign that you be free you shall be naked in your rites.

Sing, feast, dance, make music and love, all in My Presence, for Mine is the ecstasy of the spirit and Mine also is joy on earth.

For My law is love is unto all beings. Mine is the secret that opens the door of youth, and Mine is the cup of wine of life that is the cauldron of Cerridwen, that is the holy grail of immortality.

I give the knowledge of the spirit eternal, and beyond death I give peace and freedom and reunion with those that have gone before.

Nor do I demand aught of sacrifice, for behold, I am the Mother of all things and My love is poured out upon the earth.

Hear the words of the Star Goddess, the dust of Whose feet are the hosts of Heaven, whose body encircles the universe:

I Who am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars and the mysteries of the waters,

I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me.

For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe.

From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return.

Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals.

Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.

And you who seek to know Me, know that the seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without.

For behold, I have been with you from the beginning, and I am That which is attained at the end of desire."

God is speaking, and who is listening? Who does He speak to by His Spirit? The Church. Is the Church or churches listening to God, they say they are, but are they truly? If they were listening - then they would hear as Jesus said they would - why are my words strange to you? It is because you do not believe in me nor my Father who sent me! If we hear Christ speaking, we will be obedient to His will, word and what He called us to do in His Name. If we hear then we are also obedient as well for the two go hand in hand! One can not be had without the other. If we would hear and thus obey, and that completely like a lightening bolt from the sky and the resounding connection to the earth the thunder so would be the people of God,

Today is the accepted time, today is the "day of salvation" just as in Hebrews it says those who have entered into "His rest" have ceased from their labors there let us not fail to enter that "Rest of our souls" which is Christ as is "the Day of Salvation" as is "being found in Him"

So today do not fail like them who perished in the wilderness and failed to enter that hope that rest - believe whole heartedly in Him for your salvation. Trust in the LORD with all your might and not lean on your own understanding, acknowledge Him and He will give you peace and rest and you will go out and he will lead you by the hand.

sounds like a psychotic ex girlfriend of mine after I told her to go away and never darken my door again.

Sometimes I miss her though. She had a very paranoid relationship with god that taught her to believe that she was guilty and deserved punishment for her sins. Of course, she relied upon me to give her that punishment, which I was a bit uncomfortable with. He favorite pennance, I came to learn involved anal sex. Afterwards, she felt guilty, prayed extensively and a day later demanded punishment, often in the form of more anal sex.

She often cried piteously through the whole thing, but if I tried to stop she'd get mad and hit and scratch me, accusing me of preventing her from saving herself.

She would quite literally "eat the bitter fruit of her own way and choke on her own schemes" as you put it, when she would make me stop doing her in the rear and finish me off orally, as she sometimes did. I was eternally grateful for her fastidious insistence on brushing and flossing afterwards.

I was ultimately glad to see her go, because she was truly nuts and had an unhealthy relationship with god and her own rectum, as well as being clingy, needy, and just plain kooky.

Since then, I've pretty much sworn off of christian chicks.

Yes, when we hear God, He will hear us, but when we ignore GOD for so long, He will begin to ignore us. ITs not just to hear Him, but to do as He says, to trust Him and obey Him. If we dont do this before its too late, He will absolutely not hear us when we call upon Him . Jesus is coming soon, we are either fully His or fully not His, Only His ppl will be saved. Its not too late tho. and God is so eager to forgive. RUn to Jesus today , run NOW before its too late. for He is coming soon. WE must choose for Jesus before we die or He comes again, and He is coming soon. Not much time let to make the choice for Jesus. Do it today. If you dont, you will truly eat the fruit of your bitter ways, rebellion against God leads to hell. BUt acceptance and obedience in love and trust, leads to blessing and Heaven. Oh yes, run today folks, while there is a little time left.

Great job. As you can tell by the responses, most do just as what is written in the posters thread.

Yet, most if not all, will call upon the name of the Lord if they face a life or death situation.

Then the question will be, did God hear you? Or is it to late?

Playing hard to get is so not the way to get praise, mister. I don't fear anyone, except for a big guy named Josh. I have prior arrangements, but we can schedule the salvation thingy for another time.
