The line to be crossed seems to be pretty fine yet, somehow undisputable. If you personally don't believe it you call it mythology and if you do its theology ,but what marks the conventional rulings of which is which? Is to be a theologian also to be a mythologian and vice verse or does the ruling outweigh perspective and beliefe to somehow be a concrete decision?

Can I not say the same for anything else? This seems to be a touchy subject as people get hot over anything than total agreement. This is basically the malady of all those afflicted with a closed mind. Be open to all or admit that you failed to see possibility.

Each one of us as an individual must decide what is mythology and what might be theology. Good luck if this is your quest.

Mythology is man-made theology that has been religated to legend, generally because of the demise of the faith and its followers (if the theology were true, it would still be here).
The Bible is true theology. Any theological doctrine contrary to it is also myth. But to those who do not acknowledge biblical authority I will just say, you do not have to acknowledge that the world is round, but your lack of faith will not make the world flat.

Mythology (the study of myths) and theology (the study of God) are as alike as Scientology and biology. God we can prove and use creation itself as evidence so that no man can be with out guilt. Thinking this world was created, from nothing, by "anti-matter meeting with matter (which by the way is something), into the perfected model we have is like seeing a Swiss watch in the desert and believing it just grew that way. Both science and God require leaps of faith (one requires faith in man which I have learned not to do) ... as for me and my house, we will worship God.

If it is still practiced it is theology, otherwise it becomes mythology.
That's all.
In time, every religion today will become mythology. It is just the way of things.

The Bible is theology. Anything else that points to God or gods is mythology.

It's the same thing as what differentiates a cult from a "true" religion. Membership and popularity, followed by political power.

To me, it should be myth untill proven otherwise. Case in point, for centuries we thought the Trojan war was a myth, untill archaeologists actually found the city of Troy. The same should hold true for religions.

God. He spoke to us in his Holy Word, the Bible. Everything else is mythology. If you ask "Who determined what books went into the Bible?", I can give you an answer, but there isn't room here. You can email me if you want more info.
