From everything I've been taught, Christ seems like a peaceful, forgiving, apolitical man. Others may have been taught differently, but it seems as if this is the prevailing opinion.

What do you think Christ would say to Pat Robertson, following his remarks on Hugo Chavez?

This is also obviously nothing more than speculation, let's get this straight right now.

It was unwise to say that, but I forgive you.
Let he who is perfect cast the first stone.
Read your Scriptures, 'holy' man.
Pride goeth before the fall.
You do not speak for Me
Bend over
"I've been dead for over 2000 years"
Maybe you should distance yourself from me
"Can you believe so many people believe this stuff
I forgive you, go and sin no more
"Get a grip, pink boy!"
Thanks for overturning the money tables
Damn man, you're so cool!
He would be laughing so hard at Pat, he wouldn't be able to speak.
Knock knock...

Excuse me, Fred, but Jesus Christ of Nazareth was a man that walked this earth. "What planet am I from?!" May I ask how old you are? Cute though very cute.

He would judge him on the basis outlined in the Bible. Beyone that we cannot know what God will do or say.

As a fundamentalist conservative Bible thumping Protestant minister, I will tell you emphatically that Pat Robertson is a phoney. Jesus was not homophobic and in fact spoke positively about homosexuals THREE TIMES in the Gospels. But Pat Robertson, together with James Dobson and the late Jerry Falwell, has turned this nation upside down with their hate doctrine, inciting violence, threatening the rights of sovereign citizens, and endangering the public welfare over their petty personal bigotry.

To everyone that's ever been hurt by those madmen, all I can say is, please do not judge Jesus by their actions.

Are you a Christian? Do you study the Bible? If no longer you may attempt to! he's never the anti-christ there is plenty extra worse human beings than him! My dad watches the seven hundred club daily at 11:00a.m. then whilst my sibling and that i come homestead from college we watch it at 6:00p.m. He does do somethings incorrect yet there is powerful interior the flaws he does too. he's 80 years outdated and nonetheless alive, what do you think of of that? He works out and eats properly! maximum of his technology is dying off. So i could watch what you assert! The anti-christ would be somebody who claims that he's Jesus, he would be sturdy looking, so as that persons would be attracted to him. Pat does not declare that he's Jesus! i'm hoping you obtain that!

I suppose once you read this you may opt to have it removed but I hope you will listen and hear it first........ First of all Jesus wouldn't say any of those things cause He was never a smartelick, nor a bully, and never started arguments......... One thing His word was law, (the scribes and Pharisees of the church of those days knew this and had Jesus killed) As for Pat Robertson, I must say you are correct in also judging him (and yes you were judging too), But according to the holy Bible King James old text, Pat Robertson (is a false prophet and all like him already have their reward of riches on this earth). No where does it say in scripture you will become rich on this earth, on the contrary, God said through His word that became flesh Jesus Christ, "if you love me you love the Father But if you hate me you hate the Father that sent me, and if I am hated and persecuted so would any who taught the word would be hated and would be persecuted also, I've yet to see any one pick up and throw a stone at any of the rich evangelists today, Why, because they do not tell the whole truth and they are so rich they are untouchable. To be a true follower of Christ you must be born again, and to do this you must be willing to be humble as a child learning all over again, and when you are born again you become a new creature loving and understanding and obeying God and His word, Nearly all of the disciples of Christ were hunted down and thrown out of the church and multitudes were indeed killed and there were thousands even before Christ came who taught the word of God.. As even many that self proclaimed them selves as Christian hunted down and killed all that were not like them selves were also ignorant of Gods word, (As it plainly states from Christ Him self, you are to turn the other cheek in forgiveness)......... I myself don't claim to be a Christian (which is sad) because on the one hand millions that call themselves Christian wont even wave and say hello any more and whimper and frown like their life is so terrible they hate everything as they hide away behind their church doors, Where, on the other hand a true born again believer has no fear of man (the Flesh) in any way even in times of trouble and sorrow Because they love and fear God more knowing with out doubt He is there to comfort them while having a spiritual love for every one else even those they know are in sin and hate them. This is why we with out fear, we the few that are left, testify truth come what may........ As for my self I don't speak out of term with out prayer and careful study of the Holy Word lead by the unmoving Spirit of God. As many today don't know what to say nor do they remain on the same track from Sunday to Sunday, they look through a glass darkly as they themselves are blind leading the blind as they all fall into the ditch................ as Pat Robertson isn't the only one gaining from the word of God twisting His truth around also includes the unlearned.

We cannot base what Jesus would say on one comment made by a person. Instead we need to look at all the comments made by Mr. Robertson against various people and issues, including his continual reviling of gay people. Based on all this, I believe Christ would say:

"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you lock people out of the kingdom of heaven. For you do not go in yourselves, and when others are going in, you stop them. Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cross sea and land to make a single convert, and you make the new convert twice as much a child of hell as yourselves."

And to the rest of us Christ would say:

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits."

What planet are you from? Christ is a title, not a person, and certainly not a 'man'. Cute, though.
