Ask him why he didn't think it was worthwhile to get her spayed to eliminate the problem of kittens. She'll only get pregnant again and again, as she comes into heat.
If you find homes for the kittens before they're born, he'd have no reason to want to get rid of the kittens--that's the safest route. He may let you keep one kitten, but when that kitten reaches maturity it'll want to breed too, making more problems. Both cats would need to be fixed. Around here a male costs $90 and a female is between $125 and $150. If you have low cost neuter/spay in your area, then it'll be much less, but you have to take the initiative and do the phone calls to find who does it and when. A vet could give you a referral (try calling all of them in the phone book, to get as many options as possible), or the animal shelter, or a cat rescue group often knows where the neuter/spay is done for less money.

Just make sure they go to a good home and not to just anybody if anything it's better to put them up for adoption, the mom cat and her kittens eventually have to separate I know it's hard but this is why cats should be spayed/neutered but they need to be with the mom for at least til they are 2 months old.

Tell your dad he needs to get your cat spayed so she will not get pregnant again, otherwise she will just keep having more kittens. Find good homes for the kittens or take them to your local humane society so they will hopefully be adopted.

No, your dad has a point, since it's evidently not you who would be footing all the costs to do with the kittens, their injections, boosters, and if they need to go to the vet.
Please have them rehomed and do the responsible thing - SPAY YOUR CAT.

I don't think you can make him change his mind. But, Tell him to get her spayed or she'll just have more kittens later.
No need to bring more cats in this world with so many dying already in the shelters.

You can keep mom and 1 kitten, but you need to get them neutered or spayed. Find homes for the rest of them.
