If the bible isn't proof that God exists (and it isn't), and the wonders of nature don't prove that God exists (and they don't), and your personal, subjective feelings aren't proof of God's existence (again, nope), what evidence is there that God exits?

The re-birth of the nation of Israel after two thousand years of forced exile with the same people, speaking the same language, on the same soil, with the same religion has NO precedent in recorded history.

The fact that this event was predicted some 3000 - 4000 years ago in the religious scriptures of the Jewish people can't be simply ignored or brushed off as coincidence.

It argues a Divine intervention in the affairs of mankind . . .

There are thousands, if not millions, who can give eye witness testimony to the existence of God specifically and further numbers of people who can give eye witness testimony of the existence of Angels which is circumstantial evidence of the existence of God, as are Demons and Satan.

In addition, there is empirical evidence that can be used to circumstantially prove the existence of God. Noah's ark on Mt Ararat. Pieces of chariots spread across the Red Sea in a line far too long and far to numerous to have been from a single ship wreck.

I could go on and on.

The issue is simply that you refuse to accept evidence for something that you do not believe and that is your right. Even the Supreme Court has dissenting opinions.

The difference between you and a logical person is that a logical person will state, "I find the current evidence unconvincing" and an illogical or unreasonable person will state "there is no evidence because I don't want to look at it".

I'm not sure you ask the right question here. It's not important whether or not there IS evidence that God exists. What's important is that each person looks at the Bible (or religious text/tradition of choice), the wonders of nature, and their own personal feelings on the matter and decide for themselves whether they think God exists. That's where faith comes from, and nobody's personal faith should be decided by anybody else's idea of what does and does not count as "evidence."

There is no evidence at all. the "god" story is obviously made up.

For some all-powerful being, he sure is missing in action. All he would have to do is show up and preach in all churches at the same time and speak to all people in their native language. Should be a piece of cake for a guy who created the universe. But nope, he needs HUMAN agents to speak for him, and just won't provide any evidence that he exists. We are just supposed to take it on "faith", as if that's a good thing.

Sorry, there is no god, and there is PLENTY of evidence that proves that!

I believe that no other person can give you what you are seeking. Only by truly allowing him to be real in your life will there ever be a chance for you to personally experience his presence. There are people in the world that have had miracles in their lives, my self being one of them. When you give pure faith.... he knows!
If your lucky like some of us,
(because not all believers have had life changing experiences) you too will be given a gift and its amazing!
BTW you never mentioned wether you were willing to do what ever it took to get your evidence... try getting to know him with no intentions of getting evidence and see how it goes. Sitting at home doubting isnt going to get you anywhere.

I think it depends on just WHAT you believe God to be. I think God is a power. It's the Power of Love. And I see proof of it everyday! I'm sure that you believe in Love too!

Namaste!

there is no 'evidence' but why is it nescesary to have evidence? if you needed evidence for everything nothing would ever get done. where is the evidence that justice exists? sure me the evidence that people have a right to freedom etc?

Open your eyes and look around, all that you see didn't happen by its self. The Bible is the oldest factual book in history. You got where you are by yourself?
