Why are you sitting and posting this question then? Go and help your neighbour.

Assuming there's at least a little sincerity in your question.....
There are people starving somewhere in the world at all times. In the days before mass media we would only have known when our neighbor was in need and most people would certainly have helped. Today, knowing of the immensity of the need throughout the world, we feel incapable of helping every person in need. We could give every cent we have and not make a significant difference. We all need to help others to the best of our ability. After we give generously to help others we need to have enough left to feed our families.

Um...I chip in to my community all the time...thank you very much. I work at the local soup kitchens, and I've held a average of three toy/item drives each year for the past four years to help kids and families that can't help themselves.

Time to stop judging, oh, and by the way, you don't have to be religious to want to help people, I'm an aethiest

What exactly does religion have to do with being a decent human being? My friend, being human means the ability to have empathy for others who, by chance or by choice, have little or nothing. I guess you know that I am an atheist. One word of advice, though, don't let Sally Struthers know where they store the food. Thank you.

you can be human and offer them some food remember kindness begins at home if you were starving wouldnt you want some one to offer you some food remember religion has nothing to do with doing the right thing its whats in the heart that counts and i hope you got a heart michael d

Guess what: Christians can walk and chew gum at the same time.

That's right. We can profess Jesus as Lord and Saviour, actively oppose things like abortion-on-demand for the purposes of birth control, gay marriage, AND we can care for the poor. And guess what - we do. We can do both, and we do. We can walk and chew gum at the same time.

YOUR neighbour is not starving, this is for sure!

With all those "grocery exchanges" in you previous questions, her kitchen is full with all goodies! Therefore you can be christian or muslim of whatever you wish. And be good!

That doesnt take you out of the state of islam but you would be held accountable for it if your neighbor was starving and you did nothing. Its bad, really bad.

I agree with Alice, your neighbor for sure is not hungry. She should have enough onions, garlics, sugar & flour to last a lifetime.
LOL

Christians are not what they claim to be, or it'd all be a different story..
