It sounds like you need to be talking to a professional. Only they can help in these cases.

Its probably nothing, just a phase you are going through as a teenager, maybe you are seeing spirits. I used to act that way as a toddler(around 5 years old) but it only lasted a few weeks, i'm 14 now. When I acted this way it was because my grandfather had recently died, perhaps there has been some big traumatic change in your life that you are having trouble coping with?
But it could be a problem, since you say that this started recently and to you its obviously not normal. I think you should wait a week or two, and if you feel that its a problem then you should tell a family member or consult a doctor or psychiatrist. Again, it all depends on how you look at it.
Anyway, hope you feel better.

There is a possibility that this is just a phase. However, the formative years (teenage years) are when most mental disorders start to show up. Talk to your school counselor. There are privacy laws that prevent them from talking to anyone else in the school about your condition. Your school counselor may recommend a therapist. If that happens, don't be ashamed or upset. Medication or coping skills may be the way to help you resolve these issues. The main thing is not being afraid to ask for help. The fact that you are asking now shows a lot of maturity and I applaud you for that. Good luck!!!

What kind of drugs are you on? That sounds like classic drug-seeking and taking behavior.
If not, I apologize.
Either way you need help and quickly. Make an appointment this week to see a psychiatrist. NAMI.org can help you find one in your area, one that specializes in problems like yours.
Honey, I've seen a lot of mental illness in the past 25 years, and I recognize it when it passes my way. This is important. Get an appointment this week. Make sure they realize it's ASAP.

Sounds like you got a touch of Schizophrenia. Symptoms are hearing voices, unusual visual images, emotional detachment. Or you came in contact with LSD. Maybe somebody slip you some. If your thoughts start getting choppy like your thoughts keep jumping from one unrelated thought to another unrelated thought, you experience a lot of free association in your thinking, you find reading more difficult because your mine keeps wandering, you visualize floating images in the air doing things, then you are probably experiencing borderline schizophrenia which usually shows up in high school and early 20s.

How much sleep are you getting? Often w/a lack of sleep it can cause many different things to go wrong or things just get out of sync. When I don't get enough rest and that keeps happening for days on end, I often see shadows that seem to move freely. Almost like ghosts. I see them out of the corner of my eyes when I'm walking or even when I'm driving. No one else seems to see those shadows but me and I think it's because of lack of sleep.

Pressure from one's social group in the vital matters of life causes severe depression even suicide. The anorexics and the cutters were all pressured and they knew it was not for their kind of body because they didn't feel good about the socializing. Be true to yourself. Be sure to find another person who is like yourself. You can't be totally different from everyone in the world.

I think you better make an appointment with your doctor. "Hearing and seeing" things is not normal. Add to that the sudden change in your personality, and you have a situation a doctor should evaluate.
Your new personality (not wanting to be around other people) isn't the issue, it is the CHANGE of your personality for no apparent reason.
PLEASE see a doctor.

If you're on any medication, stop taking it. If you drink coffee, tea or soda, stop. If it persists, just make sure you're eating enough and try taking a multivaitamin daily, or pop B vitamins. If that doesn't work, it's just being a teenager, emotions get wired wrong soemtimes.

i also agree that if you're taking meds for annnything, you should see your doctor. just stopping could cause a detox, and the symptoms could persist.
