It's pretty self explanatory, especially when ou consider that Isaiah was a Jewish prophet and, so, when he says "us" he means the Jewish people. The Jews of Jesus' time did turn their backs on him. They were rebellious against God and had gone astray as a nation. They often left God's paths to play the "harlot" with false Gods and pagan nations.
Yet, God never completely rejected them, instead, he sent a Savior that would be the fulfillment of the old covenant with the nation of Israel, as well as to open the way for a new covenant with people of all nations (Gentiles). It is a strong testimony to God's faithfulness and the fact that, rather than reject us in our sin, He pulls out all of the stops to show us Grace.

If a man became known today for the same thing the Bible say, how many would believe him? We seem to make life what we want it to be and most of the time don't think of others. We should be glad that Jesus took all our sins away but we still don't learn. One day of praying and six nights of fun!

Absolute truth ... in fact -
He was not a comely (handsom) man - but portrayed as almost a woman in beauty on the crucifixes sold by Catholics and almost womanlike WHEN HE WAS A CARPENTER USING HAND TOOLS ... HIS ARMS WERE PROBABLY LARGER THAN ARNOLD SWARTZINIGGER ...
The Christians do not know who he was or what he represented as they do not keep the Memorial that HE SAID MUST BE KEPT FOREVER ... and that Miriam Magdilan must aslo be proclaimed within ... the foot washing and the breaking of bread and drinking of the teaching ... the wine on his memorial - the day before the Passover Sedar ...
For crying out loug - they call him "Jesus" when the letter "J" in any encyclopedia says that the letter "J" was not even invented until the 16th century this common era .....-
If the letter "J" was not created until just a couple hundred years ago ... and there is only - ONLY ONE NAME that can be called upon to acquire salvation ... how could it be an invented name - THOUGH CONTESTED AS ... IT IS IN ENGLISH - THOUGH MEXICANS HAVE IT WRITTEN IN THEIR BIBLES AS "JESUS" AND IT IS NOT IN ENGLISH ...
and Pronounced as = "HEY ZEUS" ... WHAT DOES THIS SAY???
I believe the scripture you spoke of - and we should call on Yahshua messiah whom comes to us through our Creator (WHICH THE WORLD HATES BECAUSE OF MISSTRANSLATIONS AND/OR ETC.) - Yahweh = Yahshau MEANS ... Yahweh is salvation as seen in Colliers enclycopedia, volume (I think - if not look it up under "Jesus" the snake god as shown clearly in the encircled serpent book) 12 of 24 volumes (I think - going off memory of over 20 years when I read it in SHOCK >>>> big time SHOCK)
Revelation 12:9 was not written for just space in the holy scriptures ... you should read it and then reconsider that JUST BECAUSE A PREACHER TAKING YOUR MONEY EVERY 1ST DAY AND NOT ON THE 7TH DAY AS COMMANDED TOLD YOU ... you should kick your preachers out of the churches if they cannot uphold the test:
THE TEST IS FOUND HERE:
Isaiah 8:20 ... read it and weep - repent oh my children and turn from the lies and walk in the truth ...
Peace;
Aintmyfault
.
Sorry - I saw that the messiah suffered so that we won't HAVE TO ...
YOU COMPLETELEY STUPID????
HE laid down his life to SHOW YOU THAT YOU CANNOT SIN AND STILL HAVE SALVATION ...otherwise - why did not he lay with every whore and smoke every joint thinking that this brought salvation???
No - HE DID NOT DO IT ALL FOR YOU - you idiots ... think of every righteous daddy ...he says - DO NOT PLAY IN TRAFFIC ... and you instead play in traffic BECAUSE HE PLAYED IN TRAFFIC FOR YOU????
You idiots ... go PLAY IN TRAFFIC AND SEE IF YOU HAVE PROTECTED FROM CARS GOING 70 MILES PER HOUR OR NOT ... you got to be pooping me ...
Are all christians so stinkin' stupid ???? Can they not see that the VERY LAWS THE MESSIAH KEPT TO BECOME PERFECT WERE WHAT PERFECTED HIM????
Ever look at Psalms 19???? Says the law ... well read it for yourselves as you cannot understand what the Creator or his son named Yahshua said if you dont' cosider all that was said...-

It reminds me of a song in Jim and Carol Owens musical Come Together. All we like sheep have gone astray. We've turned everyone to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of the world.

The suffering servant parable was meant to describe Israel, not a Messiah. The words were mistranslated by Christians to help support their claims that Jesus fulfilled prophecies. He fulfilled so few prophecies the Christians have had to misinterpret scriptures and come up with the idea of a second coming. Please read the page I have linked to understand what Isaiah 53 really means.

Jesus suffered so we wouldnt have to. He died so we would not have to know spiritual death. He died for us all, yet so many reject Him. How can anyone say No to this man, that died for us all? And He offers love, unconditonal love, peace and joy to a deree you cant even explain it, He offers us Heaven for eternal life with God. Yet, so many say NO to Him today for their own personal little sins they think bring pleasure and joy, but it doesnt, and one day all will know that God is God. But, if we wait till we are dead or Jesus has come again, its too late. We all must come to God with full obedience and love as He did the Father. We are being called to God and purity and holiness and the perfection of Jesus Christ, and God even shows us how to do it by the power of the blood Jesus shed on the cross.
my question..
How can anyone say No to this man?
I know my resonse is yes yes yes. Nothing is worth losing out on the gift of savlation. LEts all run to Jesus today and say YES.

OK, you asked what I think of this and I'm expecting alot of thumbs down for this answer, but you asked.
I don't think anything of it, frankly I do not care. I do not go to church because I despise the fact that if you do not believe what they believe it's wrong (if you don't believe me, just check out how many thumbs down I get and I bet they are all from people who go to church or are very religious) I don't like when people preach at me, I believe in God, and I believe in Heaven and Hell, but the rest of the mumbo jumbo I do not believe. I don't think there should be a specific way to believe in God, and I don't think that people should judge those who don't believe or don't go to church. Everyone has their own way of believing and a picture of what "their" God is to them.

Jesus, my Lord and Savior suffered greatly for all of us... even those that mocked Him. The lost have no respect for Him or His Sacrifice because the flesh is at war with the spirit that reveals Christ's fullness to us.
