I have been told that I have nice long ,toned, tanned legs. So I thought, well, maybe I could make money . I've never modeled before so I am unsure on where to start. I live in the Sf bay area in California and would like to talk to agencies in the area. I'm looking for something that is classy and tasteful. Thanks for your help!

Why don't you look at this website and look over some of the portfolios in there (models and photographers). Then find a couple of photographers in your area that you like their style of work and then contact a couple of them and see if they would be interested in doing a TFP (Time For Prints) or TFCD (Time For CD). In other words you supply your time as a model he / she as a photographer and you get images in return. You will have to sign a model release so that you and he / she can use the images.

If you do join as a model do not just go with the beginners portfolio but maybe at least silver level and update regularly.
You don't have to have an agent or agency. Most of the time they think about themselves first not you, if another model will get them more money they will send her to that shoot, not all are bad but some are so you have to be care full what you do.

I am a 43 year old woman, I have always been told I have great legs, and I should look into being a leg model, but I never pursued it. I just recently took professional pictures for my husband, a lot just my legs in high heels. Is it too late for me to pursue it? Do I even have a chance? Honestly? Please advise. If I have the slightest chance, where would I start?

The only place I know of for leg models is New York City. That's because there are many newspapers, magazines and other publications printed here.

you need a portfollio - take it to an agent
a student may do some portfollio shots for you for the experience (or for the kicks), when i was a young student I proberly would heve paid you if they are as fantastic as described, ring some agents
