It's a bonding thing. When we women have sex, a hormone/chemical is actually released in our bodies that cause the emotional reaction of feeling a bonding to the person we are having sex with. It's a survival mechanism.
This doesn't happen so much with men. The levels of that hormone/chemical were very low as compared to women at the same time.

Lots of people do not want to share. They believe sex is truly sacred when two people agree to be exclusive. If a man or woman wants a open sexual relationship, they should find an agreeable partner. One who will allow or sexual exploration. You didn't mention marriage so I'm assume your talking about single people.
Sex is nothing without love for many women. If someone expresses love to you, they should know what's expected of them in terms of what will and will not be tolerated. If he knows that exclusivity is the rule, having sex with other women would be actively destroying any good faith. There should be an understanding or else it's just deception and no one profits from that.
I don't think jealousy is foolish it's kind of natural to be possessive.

Jealousy is normal and natural. GOD is a jealous GOD. The foolish thing is to think sex is LOVE, and then get rid of the jealousy reducing sex to a pleasure thing, and getting rid of the bonds of LOVE altogether saying, "don't get jealousy" of course then it means it was only sex, because if you LOVED them and they betrayed you, then you'd be jealousy. Which is why you remain chaste, do not engage in lust, but get married in CHRIST for LOVE.
Read the Popes Encyclical "Deus Caritas Est" (link below) . .. That should clarify that LOVE IS CHARITY. LOVE is not lust, and sex, as many suppose. there are false attatchment emotions when people are intimate, but unless you are willing to sacrifice for the person, even your own body to them for the union in marriage, then it is not LOVE. JESUS gave in total self sacrifice for us, that is TRUE LOVE.
LOVE your neighbor as yourself.

Women don't understand that it's the nature of the creature that we can love them as the love of our life, kill and die for them, have them bare our children and they can be the person that shines above and beyond any other than ever will in the course of our existence on earth and yet we will still desire every other female we can possibly have in the carnal fashion. It has nothing to do with the depth and intensity of the love we truly have for them as a person as the beautiful woman that we truly love and always will.

I don't know since I am not a women. But, if you love someone, why would you want to have sex with another women? While I agree and understand what you are saying, Why would he want to? At least, He shouldn't want to.

That's the cycle of life. I mean... get real. At some point life becomes more than just the next person you're going to screw; you start to actually want a deeper, emotional, more secure relationship.
Jealousy is foolish, but so is promiscuity.

Love and sex can be two different things but once a man gives his vows to a woman to "forsake all others" it means he shouldn't be having sex outside the marriage. It has nothing to do with jealousy.

I'm not confused about sex and love i have boned plenty of guys i didn't love. However I love the man i am with now , my husband , and if he were having sex with someone other than me I wouldn't think he loved em but i would still beat the shi* out of him and the nut job who was banging my husband that's not jealously that's anger =)

alright. Well I don't confuse love and sex, but call me crazy if I think that if I'm in love with someone I would prefer if they weren't screwing other women
and btw jealousy may be "foolish" but its a basic human emotion, everyone gets jealous even if they don't admit it
