Has anyone ever heard of or know where to purchase a policy for my child's glasses? He has scratched them twice and broken them once and now they are lost. I've heard of such a policy, but can't find any info on it. Thanks!

Some of the places where you get the glasses will gaurantee kid's glasses for a year for free (breakage/scratching etc, but probably not against getting lost). Maybe the next time they get busted/lost your child's allowance should go for glasses until they're paid off!

At JCPenney Optical, their kid's glasses come with a warranty that lasts until the child outgrows the frame or needs a new prescription. It doesn't cover loss, though. No one covers loss. You have to bring back some pieces of the glasses for the warranty to work.
